The TV anime “Skip and Loafer” is adapted from the manga of the same name by Misaki Takamatsu. The anime premiered in Japan on April 4 and consists of 12 episodes. Kotomi Deai (director of Natsume’s Book of Friends) directed the anime and supervised the script at PA Works. The manga “Skip and Loafer” was highly rated and ranked 7th among manga for male readers in the 2020 edition of Kono Manga ga Sugoi. Additionally, the manga was also nominated in the 13th Manga Taisho Awards in 2020 and the 44th Kodansha Annual Manga Awards in 2020.
