Sony launches PS5 Pro, no disc drive
Recently, the gaming community that loves console games was extremely excited when information about the PlayStation 5 Pro was revealed by some specialized sites. Accordingly, the latest version of Sony's handheld game console will be released on November 7 (Vietnam time) and the PS5 Pro will be a version without a disc drive, similar to the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition that was released earlier.
The PS5 Pro will feature a larger CPU than its predecessor, as well as a more powerful processor, 67% more performance, and 28% faster RAM than the PS5. In particular, like all modern technology today, the PS5 Pro also incorporates AI and custom Ray Tracing that can go up to 4K.
Of course, the price for PS5 Pro is not cheap at all. Specifically, the price of PS5 Pro will be 699.99 USD, 699.99 GBP, 799.99 EURO and 119,980 JPY. This price is equivalent to about more than 17 million VND. This is a very noteworthy number for Vietnamese gamers. However, for the console gaming community, especially those who are familiar with PS5 before, this price is not too strange. According to some predictions, if you want to have an additional version with a disc drive, and add the import price to Vietnam, a player may have to spend about 1000 USD (about more than 24.6 million VND) for PS5 Pro.
PlayStation 5 Pro makes the community stir
As soon as there was information about the price and release date, the gaming community in Vietnam was also extremely excited. However, because there was not much more information, most of them were just wondering about the new improvements, if any, as well as the import price to Vietnam.
Currently, Sony has not made any further statements or detailed information about this upcoming console. However, it is expected that the PS5 Pro will also be a new super product of Sony for the gaming market at the end of 2024.
