Passing more than 6,400km, it took 70 million to find the AirPods… 5 million but this man has no regrets, on the contrary, is extremely excited.
Lewis Ellis, 31 years old living in Manchester (England) had an unforgettable travel experience with a journey of more than 6,400km to find the lost AirPods 5 months ago.
Specifically, in early August, Ellis personally traveled to Doha (Qatar), where he lost his AirPods and located them through the Find my phone application on iPhone.

The total cost for this “find AirPods” journey of Ellis is more than 3,000 USD, or approximately 70 million VND for airfare, food and drink and hotel rent. While buying a new AirPods, Ellis only costs … a few hundred dollars.
Ellis’ companion is Tom, a friend of his. There is also Karim – a local, who is so interested in Ellis’s journey that he decides to help him find the AirPods.
It all started 5 months ago, Ellis left her AirPods on a plane while traveling from Bangkok (Thailand) to Doha (Qatar). Because he was traveling in a large group, he was unable to return on his own, so Ellis had to notify airport staff and was told he would soon receive his AirPods back.

However, after waiting for a long time with no response, Ellis told herself that her AirPods were lost. Suddenly, Ellis’ phone announced that it had located AirPods through the Find My application. It turns out that Ellis has an AirTag attached to the case of the headset, so it can send a location signal.
Over the past 5 months, Ellis’ AirPods have “traveled” from Qatar to Katmandu (Nepal), Thailand and back to Doha (Qatar).

After receiving the news, Ellis immediately decided to go to Qatar to get her AirPods back with her friend Tom.
Sharing about her journey on social networks, Ellis said:
“It’s like I’m searching for treasure.”
When asked why spending such a large amount of money, Ellis said:
“It’s true that it only cost me a few hundred dollars to buy new AirPods, but I don’t regret it because it was a rare interesting experience in my life.”
In the end, Ellis was delighted that her AirPods were still working fine and didn’t need to buy a new one.
