Kodoani.com – Nintendo announced during Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct showcase that Square Enix is developing a remake of the Chrono Cross RPG for Switch titled Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition. The game will be released on April 7.
The game will have new quality of life features, such as the ability to turn off enemy encounters and auto-battle. The game will also feature higher quality illustrations, 3D models, and wallpapers. The game will also feature the original Radical Dreamers novel that was released on Satellaview in 1996.
Square Enix (formerly Square) released the game on PlayStation in 1999. The game is the spiritual sequel to the company’s previous Chrono Trigger RPG.
