Kodoani.com – Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer for the game Synduality Echo of Ada on Sunday, providing an overview of the game's promising story. The game will officially launch on January 24, 2025 (January 23 in Japan) on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms via Steam.

The game's setting takes place in the year 2222, many years after the “Tears of the New Moon” — a mysterious and toxic rain — destroyed most of humanity. This rain creates dangerous creatures that eat humans, forcing humanity to flee to an underground city called Amasia. Here, they discover an Artificial Intelligence (AI) named Magus. The relationship between humans and AI becomes the center of the story as they work together to discover the truth about the world in which they live.
Gameplay and demos
Synduality Echo of Ada* has gone through several stages of testing to improve the player experience:
Closed beta testing: Takes place from March 28 to April 1.
Closed network testing: From September 13 to 16, with many improvements such as deeper customization, upgraded combat system, balance changes, and the important role of AI Magus.
Open network testing: From December 12 to 19, giving players the opportunity to experience the game's features in advance.
Synduality Project
The game is part of the Synduality project produced by Bandai Namco Filmworks and Bandai Spirits. The project also includes:
Anime Synduality: Noir: The first season premieres July 2023 on Disney+ and Hulu. The second season airs from January 8, 2024.
Manga Synduality: Ellie: Launched in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive in July 2023, with Hiroshi Mishima as artist. The manga focuses on main character Ellie and will conclude with its second volume on January 28, 2025.
Novels and spin-offs: Includes a novelization under Kadokawa's MF Bunko J label and the photo story Synduality: Kaleido in Monthly Hobby Japan.
