Bandai Namco announced that their upcoming sci-fi shooter Synduality will have an anime series to accompany it.

Bandai Namco Entertainment, Bandai Namco Filmworks and Bandai Spirits announced this midweek that their Synduality game project will also have an anime series. The companies revealed the announcement with a teaser visual and cast for the anime.
The companies have also announced that their third-person sci-fi shooter game will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam) this year.
Details on the upcoming anime project will be released on September 18, while details on the game will be announced on September 22. The cast includes Aoi Koga as Noir, Nagisa Aoyama as Ciel, and MAO as Schnee.
Sony describes the game:
“In the year 2222. It has been many years since the “Tears of the New Moon”, a mysterious rain, poured down and wiped out almost all of humanity. The poison rain gave birth to deformed creatures that devoured humans, forcing them to flee from danger.
To survive, humans built an underground system called Amasia. In this newly built chaotic city on their way to maintaining their existence, they stumble across an artificial intelligence named Magus. Without knowing how things will turn out, the story of how Humans and AIs meet and try to find each other’s truth begins.”

Yosuke Futami of Bandai Namco is producing the game. neco (Augmented Reality Girls Trinary) as the character designer and Ippei Gyobu (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury, AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline) as the lead mechanical designer.
Synduality will put players in the role of a Drifter who makes a living by collecting AO Crystals – a rare resource that can only be obtained in dangerous terrestrial environments. Players will perform each mission in Cradle Coffin – a mobile armed vehicle throughout the adventure. Players can personalize their Cradle Coffin not only the look but also the equipped weapon to make the player’s Cradle Coffin fit the playing style.
