T1 is the only team in the LCK tournament that has not had any changes to the roster at the beginning of this 2023 season.

After finishing second in all three major tournaments in the past year, MSI 2022, LCK Summer 2022 or most recently Worlds 2022, T1 did not make any changes to their roster of players. for the upcoming season.

Despite experiencing three bitter runner-ups, the T1 team still decided to keep the same lineup ahead of the 2023 LCK Spring Split.

Recently in an interview with Patty Yu, Joe Marsh – CEO of T1 shared some reasons why their League of Legends team will still keep the same roster to continue playing next season. In particular, the main idea that this CEO wants to emphasize is that T1’s current lineup is completely capable of conquering all international titles and the 2023 World Championship is the ultimate goal of Faker and his teammates. this upcoming season.

“We are only 30 minutes away from reaching the world championship. Therefore, we felt that the most important thing next season was to keep the same roster that was already in place – a roster of players capable of winning world championships. And hopefully we can show the audience that possibility in 2023,” Joe Marsh shared.

Joe Marsh, CEO of T1 believes in the ability to win Worlds 2023 if the old lineup remains the same

In addition, the CEO of T1 also added that their members have now been active in the organization for a long enough time. In it, Oner, Zeus and Gumayusi also came from T1’s training camp, so they had time to learn and unite.

Joe Marsh also emphasized that they had to invest a lot of time and effort in the process of re-signing Faker – the greatest League of Legends player in history. So before that, the organization prioritized signing new contracts with Zeus, Oner, and Keria. Then focus on retaining their legendary mid laner.

To sum up, the CEO of T1 fully believes that their team in 2023 is the strongest League of Legends roster in recent years for the organization. “We have kept the same 2022/2023 roster, which I believe is the most complete version of T1 since 2015/2016.” – Joe Marsh builds on the 2015 and 2016 world championships as a landmark to elevate the T1 roster of 2023.

By maintaining the lineup, not only the CEO of T1 but also many League of Legends fans have high expectations for the ability to win the LCK Spring 2023. Hopefully Faker and his teammates will continue to play together and bring a top performance to the upcoming tournaments of League of Legends.
