Kodoani.com – Manga author Sakura Kinoshita announced on Twitter on September 22 that the manga Tactics Shinsetsu (New Theory) by her and Kazuko Higashiyama will end with the second volume, which will be released on November 18.
Kinoshita and Higashiyama launched the manga in libre inc’s pixiv online magazine Kurofune in 2018, and both continue the story from their Tactics manga. The first volume was released in March 2019.
Mag Garden published 15 compiled book volumes of the original Tactics manga by Kinoshita (The Mythical Detective LOKI) and Higashiyama (Shinshoku Kiss) between 2002 and 2013. The manga inspired a television anime in 2004.
The Tactics manga follows Kantaro, who has a sixth sense to see and befriend demons. The guy uses his powers to solve supernatural mysteries with the help of a tengu he is forced to serve.
ADV Manga first published two volumes of the series in North America, and Tokyopop received the license and published nine volumes. JManga then published at least 11 volumes in 2012 before shutting down the following year. Manga Entertainment released the anime adaptation.
