SensorTower reported that in December 2022, a total of 43 Chinese manufacturers made it to the list of the 100 highest grossing global mobile game publishers.
The total revenue of Chinese game publishers is more than 2.1 billion USD, accounting for 39.3% of the current Top 100 revenue of global mobile game publishers according to the report. Note, this report only counts publisher revenue and does not include third-party Android channels in China.

By region, the US is the most important market for Chinese game publishers, contributing 44.3% of revenue. In the domestic market, IM30 ranked second in the ranking of tactical mobile game publishers in December, just behind Supercell.
Based on the strong performance of the card battle mobile game MARVEL Snap in the US market and the sales growth of One Piece: The Bloodline in the Chinese market, Chaoxi Guangnian’s revenue has increased by 45% in the previous five periods. On this basis, the company has risen from 5 places to 12th place. Currently, MARVEL Snap’s total revenue has exceeded US$ 40 million and is still showing strong growth momentum. More than 80% of Chaoxi Guangnian’s mobile game revenue comes from overseas markets.

Along with the growth of simulation mobile games like Family Farm Adventure, the publisher’s revenue increased 17.5% month-on-month, ranking 19th.
The classic game 弹弹堂大冒险 was launched in the Chinese market in mid-December. With the strong appeal of this IP, the game ranked 10th in the list of China’s iOS mobile game revenue. Developer Seventh Avenue is at 22nd place in the list of revenue of Chinese mobile game publishers.
Zilong Games Archeland’s SRPG mobile game landed in the Korean market in early December and quickly entered the top 10 list of top-selling games locally. Issuer current revenue increased 83.2% month-on-month, returning to 24th place on the list.
China Mobile Games launched the IP-licensed classic mobile game Guoman Rakshasa Street in the Chinese market on December 22, and the publisher’s revenue increased 109.5 percent month-on-month.
