Naro has shown affection for Rei at the beginning of the series and is jealous of Otaku, as she seems to prioritize him over herself. However, Otaku knows Rei’s feelings and shares his to draw the two closer together.

In one of the recent chapters, when Rei feels frustrated about her parents being called for petty crimes, Naro wants to cheer her up. But she didn’t know how to cheer up her friend/lover, and at that moment, Otaku came to the rescue. Not literally, he’s created a setting where the two can vent their frustrations and open up to each other.

Otaku notices that Rei has an accessory that can break if they play the game due to them dribbling. Realizing that she had put a ring on Naro, she froze for a moment, even though it wasn’t the wedding finger. And it seems Rei is also aware of this as she wants to avoid causing any confusion between the two. Naro gets lost in her world when Rei intends to play with Otaku, but the bell rings and their free time is up.

This is not the first time a new character has been introduced to add tension to the plot. But while the former are interested in Rei, the new one will love Otaku and misunderstand his relationship with Naro. And in one of the following chapters, Otaku will be candid about her feelings towards Rei.

On another note, this series is one of the few that is not by an official publisher but one that is independently made by the author. However, when the series became popular, it was picked up by a publisher and all the Chaps were compiled into a single volume. But the story continues to be published online, so there could be more episodes. Currently, the author has done more than 30 Chapters when writing this article.
