The game That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Memories has announced an online giveaway and an in-game collaboration with the anime series Overlord. Users are eligible to win a color poster signed by Miho Okasaki, the voice actress of main character Rimuru Tempest.
The giveaway campaign runs from January 22 to 24, with the in-game collaboration starting on January 26. The collaboration will include a voiced in-game scene as well as characters customization based on the two franchises, in-game chat function with in-game allies, and special buildings. That time I reincarnated into slime: ISEKAI Memories is a 3D fighting RPG developed by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc., WFS. It was officially released on October 27, 2021, and the servers opened the next day. The game is available to play on mobile devices and is listed on Google Play and Apple Store. The game is described as:Enter the world of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime in a new 3D fighting RPG! A new story supervised by Fuse, the author of the original novel! A mysterious girl named Shinsha appears, claiming to be Rimuru’s daughter. What is her relationship with Izis, the witch from the “land of mirrors”?
The Tensura franchise recently got a three-part original video adaptation and also confirmed a spring 2024 release date for the third season. airs this spring. The three-part OVA is titled The Story of Coleus and follows Rimuru and his team as they visit the Kingdom of Coleus. It’s worth noting that this side story was first released as a Blu-Ray version of the anime’s second season. The story is arranged chronologically between the first and second seasons of the anime.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime light Novel by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah began as a web novel series, first published in Shosetsuka ni Naro from 2013 to 2016. It was later published by Acquired by publisher Micro Magazine and serialized since 2014. It was licensed in English for North America by Yen Press in 2017.
The Overlord franchise also revealed anime-related updates earlier this month. The upcoming film Overlord: The Holy Kingdom will be released later this year. The series is based on the light novel Overlord written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in 2015. The second and third seasons both aired in 2018, animated by studio MADHOUSE. There are currently two summary films also from the MADHOUSE studio. A fourth season, which ends airing in 2022, was originally announced with the film The Holy Knight.
