Poppy's strength in TFT season 12
Since the launch of TFT season 12, the Can Truong system has appeared inferior to Tien Phong as its resistance in the early game is quite limited. It was only when Riot Games strongly buffed Can Truong's bonus armor/magic resistance in version 14.20 that this system was noticed and used more. However, the ability to combine teams of this system is still relatively limited and can almost only shine in the play of Poppy – Courage with the Magic Fist core.
It is important to know that in recent versions, Poppy has been strongly buffed in both resistance and damage. Especially the increase in Magic Fist's core power when it increased from 225% to 240% of the original damage index and helped Poppy become an extremely powerful main unit. Furthermore, combined with the inherent stubbornness of the Courage system, Poppy can withstand combat extremely well and use moves to “clean up” the opponent many times.
Building the Poppy – Can Truong squad in TFT season 12
In the early stages of the game, gamers should start with quality 1-cost champions like Poppy, Lillia and Zoe. They will activate important races – systems such as Courage and Magic to increase Poppy's damage output and resistance. If you feel you lack magic damage, you can add Ahri at level 4 to take advantage of the 2 Scholar milestone at this stage.
Similar to the 1-money general reroll gameplay, gamers will not buy experience at the beginning of the match to buy as many Poppies as possible. Even Zoe can be upgraded if she appears a lot in the store to add a small amount of magic damage. After completing at least raising Poppy to 3 stars, players need to continuously buy experience to level up and add Courageous units to the squad. At that time, Shen, Hecarim or Nunu will be options worth investing in.
In the late game (after level 8), gamers will find a way to add Taric to the squad to complete the milestone of 6 Courage. In case you accumulate a lot of gold and reach level 9, Diana and Xerath will be extremely good additions. These are all units capable of dealing good damage, creating great conditions for the main Poppy to take down the opponent's team in the final stages of the match.
Some notes when building a squad
Gamers should only aim for this squad if they own the Magic Fist core early. In addition, equipment that provides the ability to create shields such as Blood Sword and Sterakk's Claw will be extremely suitable for Poppy as this unit already possesses strong defense stats from Courage. In addition, the Silver Hammer is also an extremely powerful item on Poppy's body. This item provides a huge amount of AD (165%) and above all, the stun immunity effect will help Poppy deal damage much more effectively.
