Kodoani.com – There’s been a flurry of series announcements this weekend That Time I Got Rebirth as a Slime after the final screening of the Scarlet Bond animated film in Japan. In addition to the new three-part OVA, a new short story by the original author Fuse, etc., one of the big revelations is that the third season is slated to officially premiere in Japan in spring 2024.
The third season was first announced in November with the following visuals revealed:
Based on Fuse’s light novels, the latest season of the television anime That Time I Got Recycled as a Slime will air in 2021, directed by Atsushi Nakayama (Absolute Duo) at studio Eightbit, with series composition by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun) and character designs by Ryoma Ebata (Stars Align’s lead animator).
Company employee Mikami Satoru was stabbed by a random killer and reincarnated in another world. But it turns out he’s reincarnated as a slime! Thrown into this new world as Rimuru, he begins his journey to create a world that welcomes all races.
