Episode 6 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 focuses on the encounter with Adalmann, an immortal former follower of the now deceased Demon Lord Clayman. Adalmann, who was a cardinal of the Western Holy Church, explained a lot about how the Luminism church was structured and what it came to be. Rimuru also learns that several people from the church, including Hinata have “evolved” like him, turning them into “Enlightened” beings with power on par with the Demon Lord Seed.

The title of episode 7 is “The Clash Between Saints and Demons,” suggesting that Rimuru and Hinata will finally meet on the battlefield after many episodes of preparation and deliberation. Based on manga chapters 91 and 92, Hinata is able to find a taste of home on the way to Tempest, helping to convince her that Rimuru is actually from Japan. While Hinata may be reaching out with peaceful intentions, her “reinforcements” appear to be following a different set of orders – orders that seem fixed on creating conflict with Tempest.
