Kodoani.com – TOHO posted the anime’s second promotional video on Saturday for the anime’s sixth season My Hero Academia. The clip reveals the “climax” of the anime’s current “Black Hero Arc”, which begins on February 11. The arc’s climax will air over three episodes on March 11, 18, and 25.
The anime’s sixth season premiered on October 1. This season will air for two consecutive seasons (a quarter of a year) for a total of 25 episodes.
Eve will perform the new opening theme song “Bokura no” (our), and the three-member rock band Six Lounge will perform the new ending theme song “Kita Kaze” (North Wind).
The new installment so far has adapted the “Mystic Liberation War” part of Kōhei Horikoshi’s original manga about the all-out war between heroes and villains. SUPER BEAVER performed the previous opening theme, “Hitamuki”, and Kiro Akiyama performed the previous ending theme, “SKETCH”.
The first 13-episode season of the anime premiered in April 2016. The 25-episode second season premiered in April 2017 and the third season premiered in April 2018 and spanned 25 episodes. The fourth season premiered in Japan in October 2019 and aired for 25 episodes. The show’s fifth season premiered in Japan in March 2021 and aired for 25 episodes.
Horikoshi launched the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014.
