Kodoani.com – The second 2024 issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced on Monday that the seventh season of the anime adaptation of the manga My Hero Academia by Kōhei Horikoshi will launch in spring 2024. The manga will also take a short break on December 18, and will return in the fourth and fifth issues of the magazine on December 25.
A seventh season of the anime was announced after the sixth season ended on March 25. Romi Park will voice the characters Star and Stripe in the new season. The anime is also getting a fourth film, with Horikoshi taking on the role of general supervisor and character designer. The film will have a story that takes place at the same time as the current TV anime, with the collapse of secure society.
Horikoshi launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. The 39th volume of the manga was released in Japan on November 2.
The anime’s first 13-episode season premiered in April 2016, and since then, the series has had multiple seasons and sequels.
