The official website for the anime adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki’s “The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse” (“Mokushiroku no Yon-kishi”) manga has confirmed the cast for Tristan Platoon. These characters were introduced in episode 17 of the anime.
The cast includes Atsumi Tanezaki as Isolde, Shugo Nakamura as Jade, Sōma Saitō as Chion, Kōki Uchiyama as Lancelot (one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse disguised as Shin the fox and the son of Ban and Elaine ), Ayumu Murase as Tristan (one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse and son of Meliodas and Elizabeth), and Fairouz Ai as Gawain (the mysterious niece of King Arthur and one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse position).
The anime premiered on October 8 as part of a new anime programming block on TBS and its affiliates, which ran for half a year without a break. Netflix began streaming the anime on January 31, and the second block began on January 7. Maki Odaira is directing the anime at Telecom Animation Film, and Shigeru Murakoshi is supervising and writing the series.
Youichi Takada is the character designer, Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto are composing the main theme, with Yamamoto also providing the music. UNLIMITED PRODUCE is produced and planned by TMS.
In January 2021, Suzuki began serializing the story in Weekly Shōnen Magazine. The English version is published simultaneously in digital and print by Kodansha USA Publishing. The initial volume is described by the company as follows:
