Kodoani.com – Square Enix’s May issue of Gangan Joker magazine revealed on Friday that the manga The Case Study of Vanitas (Vanitas no Carte) by Jun Mochizuki will return from a hiatus in the magazine’s next issue on May 22.
The manga went on hiatus in June 2022.
Rumors swirling around The Book of Vanitas, a watch magic book with a dubious reputation, lured Noé, a young vampire looking for a friend’s salvation, to Paris. What awaited him in Flower City, however, were not long hours shuffling the sidewalks or rummaging through dusty bookstores in search of a book. Instead, his prey comes to him… in the arms of a man who claims to be a vampire doctor! Mochizuki launched the manga in Gangan Joker in December 2015. Square Enix published the 10th volume in May 2022.
TV anime by studio BONES premiered in July 2021. The second season of the anime premiered in January 2022.
