Spin-off manga adapted from Twi-Yaba’s anime will premiere on Sunday at The Dangers in My Heart FAN FEST 2023
Kodoani.com – TV Asahi announced during the event The Dangers in My Heart FAN FEST 2023 on Sunday that the anime adaptation of the spin-off manga Twi-Yaba by Norio Sakurai opens in Japan on Sunday. The event also introduced the main trailer and premiere for the anime’s second season The Dangers in My Heart (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) on January 7. The trailer introduces the second season’s opening theme song, “Boku wa…” (I…), by band Atarayo, and the ending theme song. ending “Koishiteru Jibun sura Aiserunda” (I Can Even Love Myself Even When I’m in Love) by YouTuber Kohana Lam.
The Twi-Yaba anime adaptation will consist of multiple short episodes in one 21-minute episode. The anime will also be broadcast internationally in the following countries and regions, with international broadcast dates to be announced soon:

The Twi-Yaba spinoff manga is a collection of short stories, posted on the official Twitter account of Sakurai (formerly X). The series’ name comes from the first two characters of the Japanese pronunciation of the name “Twitter.”
The second season of The Dangers in My Heart will begin on January 7 in the NUMAnimation programming block on TV Asahi and its 23 affiliates, as well as on BS Asahi. The second season features the return of cast and staff from the first season.
The anime’s first season premiered on TV Asahi and its affiliates in “NUMAnimation” on April 1. HIDIVE streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
Seven Seas Entertainment has copyrighted the manga and describes the story as follows:
Ichikawa Kyotaro, a boy who barely belongs to the school’s social class, often believes that he is the main character in some psychological horror movie. He spends all day thinking of ways to turn the peaceful lives of his classmates into chaos and pursues Anna Yamada, the class idol. However, Kyotaro is not the troubled teenager he pretends to be… and it turns out, Anna herself is somewhat of a mystery!
Sakurai began publishing the manga in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in March 2018. The manga then moved to Akita Shoten’s Champion Cross manga website in April 2018. When Champion Cross merged with the manga website Akita Shoten’s other title, Champion Tap!, to create a new website Manga Cross in July 2018, the manga moved to that new website. Akita Shoten published the manga’s 9th compiled volume on November 8. Seven Seas Entertainment released the manga’s 7th compiled volume on October 3.
