Summarize
Kang So finally caught the Deputy Director red-handed on the company’s rooftop while he was harming two workers. Seeing him, the Deputy Director looked annoyed and rushed to attack Kang So with his claws still out.
Thinking he had caught Kang So, the Deputy Director realized he had escaped and was running around at unbelievable speed. This only made him angrier while Kang So had to safely transport the injured workers somewhere else.
Kang So asked the Deputy Director to show his true form when he realized he was not human. Underestimating his power, Deputy Direcotr obliged and transformed from a human into a demihuman. He grew horns on his head and his claws protruded more than before.
When the Deputy Director rushed at Kang So with the intention of tearing him to pieces, Kang So simply repelled him with a blow that caused him to fall to the ground. He approached the Deputy Director while he was lying on the floor and noticed that even his blood was black.
It turns out that this monster has been using human blood all along as a parasite, which makes Kang So question whether he is a demon with that specific power. Seeing Kang So belittle him by calling him a mere devil, the Deputy Director stood up and rushed to teach him a lesson.
Kang So now saw the Deputy Director’s true form – he was a wolf in human disguise. Now that he has transformed into his true form, he is out of Kang So’s blood. However, few people expected that just a simple twist of his finger could cause his entire arm to break.
The Deputy Director cries out in pain and Kang So shows him how to actually use his skills. Exhausted, the wolf is now questioned about his true identity but he refuses. He asks Kang So to kill him instead calling himself a proud warrior rather than a gossip.
Seeing how reluctant he was, Kang So started punching him forcefully until the wolf finally begged him to stop. The deputy director revealed that he was a ‘collector’ belonging to the “devil race”.
He is ordered by his superiors to collect these “orbs of despair,” which contain people’s ultimate fear and pain just before they die. Kang So asks how many people he killed and out of fear, the collector says he didn’t kill as many as the rest and won’t kill anymore if he’s spared.
Kang So refuses to let him go and kills the Deputy Director for the lives he took of innocent people. He decided to leave his body to the association. Meanwhile, the woman who had previously requested to call for backup asked Kang So if he was a Level 0 awakened person.
