Kodoani.com – At the Fuji TV Ani 2025 live event on Monday, information about the anime adaptation of the famous detective novel The Dinner Table Detective (Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de) by Tokuya Higashigawa has been published. The anime series will premiere on Noitamina channel in April 2025, with a new broadcast time slot at 11:00 p.minstead of 12:55 am like now.

Plot
Set in Kunitachi, Tokyo, the story revolves around Reiko Hoshodaughter of the owner of the famous Hōshō Corporation, currently works as a detective. With my boss, Inspector KazamatsuriReiko solves difficult cases. However, the key factor in decoding the mysteries is KageyamaReiko's housekeeper and driver. Despite always having a rude attitude towards her, Kageyama shows outstanding sharpness and talent when solving cases.

Launched year 2007with three major novel collections published since 2010 to 2012. The “Best of” edition was released in 2019. Two new novel volumes in the Shin Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de series were released on 2021 and 18/9/2024. Yūsuke Nakamura provided illustrations for the new volumes.
