The Dragon Ball Daima panel at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2024 unexpectedly received a live stream notification following widespread backlash within the fan community.
Battle Hour 2024 organizers, Bandai Namco, have changed their stance following fan backlash against their initial decision not to live stream the event. Now, in a new post on X (formerly Twitter), they have revealed that two panels will be streamed live. Singer of Dragon Ball Z’s iconic opening song, “Cha-La Head-Cha-La,” Hironobu Kageyama’s special live performance, will now be streamed alongside the console Dragon Ball Daima is highly anticipated. When and where to watch the Dragon Ball Daima live stream panel
Kageyama’s special performance and Dragon Ball Daima special panel will now be streamed on Day 2 of the event — Sunday, January 28 – at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. respectively PST via YouTube. According to the official Battle Hour 2024 website, all panels will have video archives for fans to watch later, with the exception of Sand Land and Dragon Ball Z reruns.
The build-up to Daima has sparked excitement among fans, most recently following a new synopsis for the series, which reconfirmed that Toriyama was involved in the series’ plot and character designs. While most fans were excited, some were also dissatisfied with the lack of a live broadcast announcement for Dragon Ball: Sparking! No too. The game marks the first return of the iconic Sparking/Budokai Tenkaichi series in nearly two decades.
