New members revealed for ongoing dark fantasy light novel adaptation
Kodoani.com – New opponents gather beneath a blood-red moon in a dramatic new clip for the upcoming second season of The Eminence in Shadow, an ongoing anime series based on the dark fantasy light novel series written by Daisuke Aizawa and illustrated by Touzai. The new trailer also announced that season 2 will premiere from October 2023, including 12 episodes.

The Eminence in Shadow light novel series has been published by Enterbrain in Japan since November 2018, and a manga version with illustrations by Anri Sakano began in December 2018. The television anime is directed by Kazuya Nakanishi and produced by Nexus. animated and aired from October 2022 to February 2023.
