Kodoani.com – Official website of the anime series Pole Princess of Avex Pictures and Tatsunoko Production began uploading a video on Monday featuring the character Hinano Hoshikita (voiced by Rio Tsuchiya). Tsuchiya also performs the song “Wish Upon a polestar” in the video. Ayaka of STUDIO TRANSFORM choreographed the video.
Previously, the channel also streamed a video featuring Subaru Nanyo (played by Minami Hinata) pole dancing. Hinata performed the song “Remain.” HARUNA choreographed the video.
The anime’s staff debuted the opening episode 0 on December 23, and released the five-minute first episode on YouTube on January 13. The anime currently has seven episodes.
The story revolves around Hinano, a very normal and gentle 17-year-old girl. Since she was very young, her grandmother has run a planetarium that Hinano loves, but one day Hinano finds out that the planetarium will be closed. Hinano worries if she can do anything for her grandmother and for the planetarium, and one day she stumbles across a woman dancing on a pole under a starry sky. She gathers her friends and together they set up a stage in the planetarium to perform shows, and they jump into the world of pole dancing.

Avex Pictures and Tatsunoko Pro are both credited for the original work. Hitomi Ezoe directed the anime at Tatsunoko Pro. STUDIO TRANSFORM’s KAORI is the pole dancing supervisor.
Anime is having a movie that will premiere in early winter of 2023.
