Kodoani.com – The March issue of Akita Publishing’s Champion RED magazine revealed on January 19 that the manga “Saint Seiya: Next Dimension – The Myth of Hades” by Masami Kurumada will return in early summer with a promised “climax”.
The series went on hiatus in June, creating excitement among fans.
The manga continued after its previous hiatus in April 2023 with “The Final Prequel,” consisting of eight dramatic chapters. The manga has been on hiatus since July 2021, leaving readers looking forward to its return.
Masami Kurumada, the manga’s author, has been pursuing this project since 2006, and Akita Publishing released the 14th compiled book volume in April 2023. The author stated as far back as September 2022 that ” final series” will include a total of 16 chapters, creating anticipation among the fan community.
Kurumada was famous for creating the manga “Saint Seiya” from 1986 to 1990, a work that has become the inspiration for many television anime, original anime video projects, animated films, and spin-off manga.
Not only the manga, but also a huge fan following the live-action Hollywood movie “Knights of the Zodiac,” based on the original manga, began premiering in Japan last April under the title “Saint Seiya: The Beginning.” The film was officially released in the US last May, giving fans a new and dramatic experience.
