Last weekend (September 7), at Spartacus Gaming Center (No. 8 Quang Trung, Ha Dong, Hanoi), GTV organized the Final match of the most anticipated tournament of the year called Hanoi Final 2024. This can be said to be the biggest eSports tournament of the year for the two games AoE (Age of Empires) and Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) with the support of many major sponsors (DareU, AKKO, ViewSonic, Western Digital, Skin.club,…), raising the scale and quality of the tournament with a total prize value of up to 150 million VND.
Despite being hindered by the harsh weather, the Hanoi Final 2024 tournament still received enthusiastic attention with the participation of Chim Se Di Nang, Dev Nguyen and Nhism (Refund Gaming) and the entire community of the two AoE and CS2 games in different provinces and cities.
Hanoi Final 2024 – Age of Empires
At this Hanoi Final 2024 tournament, the unique format of 2 people 1 color (also known as dual control) will be applied. This is considered the most special format created by the AoE community, helping to narrow the gap in skill level between semi-professional AoE and professional AoE, thereby creating balanced and satisfying matches for the audience.
The AoE Hanoi Final 2024 is the participation of two semi-professional AoE teams, Teu Canh (Ronal Teu – Dinh Xuan Canh) and Bac Giang (TinTin – Phan Doan). These are all famous names in the AoE Phui village. And the final victory belongs to Teu Canh's team with a very close score of 9-8 in a tense confrontation.
Hanoi Final 2024 – Counter-Strike 2 (CS2)
The Hanoi Final 2024 is the first Vietnamese tournament to be featured on HLTV (international CS:GO news site) in 5 years. This is a “tiger-dragon” match between the two best representatives from the North and the South, Blaze Warriors and Elocon Clan.
The Finals promise to be extremely dramatic because they are also the champions of the Spring (Elocon Clan) and Summer (Blaze Warriors) tournaments in the GPlay Premier tournament system organized by GTV.
Finally, the championship trophy stayed in Hanoi after a stormy and turbulent day. The Vietnamese CS2 champion officially named Blaze Warriors after defeating the best team in the Southern region, Elocon Clan, to win convincingly after only 3 maps.
Conclusion
The final of the Hanoi Final 2024 tournament took place at the BIG OFFLINE event on September 7 and ended with unexpected success and many memorable memories. This is also a milestone marking a new step forward from GTV to bring the community even bigger events in the future in Vietnam, even reaching out internationally.
