Kodoani.com – The official website for the anime adaptation of the harem – ecchi manga “2.5 Dimensional Seduction” (2.5 Jigen no Yūwaku) by Yū Hashimoto has revealed an early promotional video, stills, main cast, staff information, and announcement of the premiere slated for 2024.

The film will be directed by Hideki Okamoto (director of “Bakugan: Evolutions,” “Mysteria Friends”) at JC Staff. Takao Yoshioka (who wrote the script for “Horimiya”) is writing the series. Tomoyuki Shitaya (character designer for “Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma”) is designing the characters. Hiroaki Tsutsumi (composer of “Dr. Stone”) is in charge of the music.
“The manga “2.5 Dimensional Seduction” has been licensed by Seven Seas and published under the name “Lilysa” through the publisher Ghost Ship.The manga’s story is described as follows:
“I have no interest in real girls!” That was stated by Okumura, the president of the school’s manga club. He is a typical otaku, obsessed with a sexy 2D (fictional) manga character named Lilliel. Then the new school year begins, and a 3D (real!) girl named Lilysa with a passion for cosplay joins the club. Lilysa convinces Okumura to be her photographer–and guess who her favorite manga character is? Not only that, Lilysa also models for fetish things! The line between 2D and 3D begins to blur as this hot ecchi romantic comedy unfolds.
Hashimoto launched the manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump + website in 2019. Shueisha published the manga’s 17th volume on May 2 and will publish the 18th volume on September 4. The painting has more than 1.7 million copies released.
