The Japanese launch date of the game on PS5 has not yet been determined
Kodoani.com – Account X Japan's official for the game Palworld of the company Pocketpair confirmed on Wednesday that version PlayStation 5 The game will not launch in Japan at the same time as other countries. Even though the game launched on PS5 at 68 countries and territoriesbut a Japanese release date has yet to be announced. Pocketpair is a company based in Japan, however, the cause of this delay was not specifically mentioned.
Palworld is a multiplayer survival game, released on Steam Early Access on the day January 19 and has been achieved 25 million users within just a month of its release. In July, Sony Music Entertainment Japan Inc. and subsidiaries Aniplex has partnered with Pocketpair to form a new joint venture called Palworld Entertainment to develop this game further.
Remarkable, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company filed a lawsuit against Pocketpair at Tokyo District Court on the day September 18alleges that Palworld violate their patents. The lawsuit claims violation ban and compensation for damages. Pocketpair responded that they were “not aware of the specific patents allegedly infringed” and had not received detailed information. The company said it will initiate legal proceedings and further investigate the complaints.
Initially, many players and critics noticed similarities between “Pal's” creatures Palworld with Pokémon, and Pokémon Company announced they were investigating possible copyright infringement.
