But then she apologized to Edwin. Edwin also apologized to Harrietta for not caring about Harrietta’s feelings on the matter. However, since Harrietta wanted them to talk to each other, everything would be fine. The reason for the unexpected meeting was that Vivianne thought the Redfords were innocent.
The events unfolded a bit hastily, as if they were trying to cover up something.
After arriving at Richconel’s mansion, Harrietta sent the coachman away so Edwin could dress. She didn’t give him much time, but he was still able to dress properly.
