TV anime based on romantic comedy manga by Koume Fujichika to air in 2023
Kodoani.com – After the countdown, the official website of The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glassesthe upcoming TV anime based on Koume Fujichika’s romantic comedy manga, has updated with new illustrations from the manga author as well as a new countdown timer for new illustrations.
The new illustration (below) features Ai Mie observing that “It’s dark.” while her classmate, Kaede Komura, pointed out that “It’s sunglasses.” At the time of this writing, the new countdown on the official website expires in about two weeks.

Known in Japan as Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta, the original manga was published in Japan by Square Enix in their monthly Gangan Joker magazine. An English version is also available from Square Enix Manga, who describes the story as follows:

Komura begins her school year with a new neighbor in her homeroom class – Mie wears glasses. Before long, he has a crush on his quirky classmate who always forgets her glasses! TV anime The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses will air in Japan in 2023. Additional details about the film (such as its cast, staff, and exact release date) have yet to be revealed.
