Bac Giang province began marking the official high school graduation exam 2022 from the afternoon of July 11th. In which, the highest and lowest scores in the country were found in Literature, 9.5 and 0.5 respectively.
On July 12, the 3rd inspection team of the Ministry of Education and Training led by Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son came to inspect the marking work at two examination boards of Hoa Binh province and Bac Giang province.
Mr. Mai Son, Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People’s Committee, reported to the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training on the direction of this province’s 2022 high school graduation exam.
Accordingly, Ms. Dao Thi Minh Hai, deputy head of the essay marking committee of Bac Giang province’s exam marking board, said that on the morning of July 11, the examination board conducted sample grading according to the regulations on 10 tests to discuss answers. then give a general direction to conduct mass grading of the following articles.
The grading results show that, out of 10 papers, there is 1 test with 4.25 points below the average score, 3 with 5-7 points, 4 with 7-8 points and one with 9.5 points. .
Ms. Hai said that the judging panel was very impressed with the score of 9.5. It is known that this candidate met most of the requirements of the test, only deducting points in some odd places. The part of creativity and personal connection is also shown well when the candidate has used another work to compare, highlighting the value of the given work.
However, in this marking period, there was also a special test, because it was only 0 points.
“Since this is a special phenomenon, we also discussed this test. It is impossible to give any marks for the test when the entire assignment, the student can only write 5 words, “said Ms. Hai.
The method of marking the exam is to mark the roll (hand 1 is done, then hand 2) and overlap (1 hand first, so there is always a number of papers waiting for handwriting 2), so if there is a difference, the 2 proctors will soon be confronted with each other to review.
Talking to a reporter, a judge said that among the papers she marked, there was an additional 9 score, which was checked between 2 times, so it can be said that this score is correct. At the same time, there are more articles with 1.5 points, which have also been carefully reviewed.
“In both these tests, the candidates did very little. One student did only a little in the reading comprehension section, the other did a little bit in the discussion section. I tried to gently dab my hand but it didn’t help,” she said.
