The Immortal Adventurer Unexpectedly Reveals No Credit Opening and Ending

The Unwanted Undead Adventurer anime revealed a version without the opening and ending after its January 6 premiere. Studio CONNECT is animating the series. JUVENILE will perform the opening theme song titled “IMMORTAL”:

Mao Abe will perform the ending theme song “Keep Your Fire Burning”. The song was featured in the anime’s second trailer. Noriyaki Akitaya will direct the anime and Yukie SUGAwara is in charge of compiling the series. Takao Sano is responsible for the character designs. Shun Narita is composing music. The main cast includes:

Unwanted Immortal Adventurer – End

The anime is adapting the light novel Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha written by Yu Okano and illustrated by Gian, currently serialized in Overlap Novels magazine. J-Novel Club licensed the novel in English and describes the plot as follows: Rentt Faina, a 25-year-old adventurer, has been attacking monsters for a decade. However, without much talent for the job, Rentt finds himself stuck hunting Slimes and Goblins for little money every day. Little does he know that all this is about to change when he comes across a seemingly unexplored path in the Moon’s Reflective Labyrinth. However, what awaits him at the end of the path is not treasure or wealth, but a legendary dragon that wastes no time in devouring him! Waking up a while later, Rentt found that he wasn’t quite dead, but he wasn’t alive either— He was nothing more than a pile of bones! Armed with nothing but his trusty sword, tool belt, and spooky new appearance, Rentt begins his journey to become a newly reborn Skeleton to achieve Existential Evolution, hopefully one day will return to civilization in a more human form. Will Rentt succeed or will the maze consume him for the rest of his life…?
