Kodoani.com – Hakusensha’s Manga Park manga website will publish the first part of the manga’s final chapter The Knight Captain is the New Princess-to-Be (Himegimi wa Kishi Danchō) by Yasuko Yamaru for subscribers on April 11. Each chapter of the manga has two parts, so if there are no delays, the manga will end on April 18.
Christina, aka “Lady Chris,” was born into a noble family and was more or less treated like a boy growing up. Now a girl, she’s not only the captain of the royal guard – she’s also personally protected Prince Leonardo, her best friend since childhood. When Leo’s father, the king, asks Leo to find a suitable girl to marry, he says he has found one: Chris! Chris was shocked, but figured Leo didn’t really love her that much; it was probably just some kind of ploy to keep his father happy. She decides to play along, but as the charade continues, she begins to wonder if maybe her princely friend considers her more than a friend.
Yamaru launched the manga in Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine in February 2020. Hakusensha published the manga’s third compiled book volume in June 2022 and will publish the fourth volume on May 2.
