The final installment of the My Hero Academia manga repeats some of the earlier unfortunate mistakes of the series.

My Hero Academia has a particularly large cast of characters compared to most shonen series. While that helps make the story more universal and diverse, it also has the unfortunate side effect of having many characters come across and fade out too often. This unfortunate fate has befallen many people throughout MHA who may have been a fan favorite, and it repeats itself in the first installment of the final season.
Manga Chapters My Hero Academia The latest focuses on Todoroki Shoto’s final battle with his estranged brother Dabi. Since mastering both the ice and fire aspects of his Quirk and becoming invulnerable to fire, Shoto is the obvious man for the job. Of course he still couldn’t be sent to confront the villain alone, so he was escorted by a similar group of students and Heroes, including Iida Tenya and the trusted curators. by Endeavor, Kido, Onima and Burnin.
While the original plan was for all the heroes to come together to confront Dabi, the villain’s murderous flames quickly rose to temperatures that could be fatal to ordinary people. The other heroes were forced to return, but the Flaming Sidekickers bravely declared that they would endure the worse and were ready to engage Dabi whenever Shoto was available. At the time, all indications were that they took down Dabi as a team – but that idea was quickly dropped when the guy made his first move.
By taking the initiative, Dabi tipped the game in his favor for a moment and the Flaming Sidekickers were left in shambles. It quickly turned into a big duel involving only the two brothers, and promises of support were futile. They remain unrelated until the end of the match, when they attempt to jump in the way of an attack aimed at Shoto. The endurance of the two, though short-lived, gave Shoto enough time to charge Coldflame, eventually knocking out Dabi.
While Flaming Sidekickers was never the main character at first, it’s a bit disappointing that My Hero Academia could end with no revelation about Endeavor’s most trusted group. One of the ways that the MHA’s Pro-Heroes assert their individuality is through their uniquely named super-animals, but the Sidekickers never get so many opportunities. They were certainly brave in Shoto’s fight with Dabi, but that was hardly an opportunity to show why Endeavor put so much faith in this group.
Of particular interest is Burnin’s treatment, which continues My Hero Academia’s infamous tendency to cast aside its female characters after single combat. They show great promise at the start, then always get injured or get kicked out of the action without any chance for character development.
Burnin’ never had a chance to stand out, and in the manga there isn’t even a moment dedicated to explaining her Quirk. (Blazing Hair allows her to fly and grab flames overhead and throw them into projectiles.) She might be the MHA’s last chance to overturn the one-sided view of many of the girls out there, but it’s true. unfortunately that doesn’t happen looks like this is the case.
