The literal pig is coming to anime screens soon in the Heat the Pig Liver light novel adaptation later this year, but before that, the series wants fans to catch up on the legend of the pig with some facts about it. pig along with a new image of the main character Pig and the heroine Jess Yesma. The Heat the Pig Liver light novel is published in Japan by KADOKAWA’s ASCII Media Works division under their Dengeki Bunko publishing house. The story follows an unattractive otaku who wakes up in the body of a pig after he loses consciousness while eating raw pig liver. Pig finds herself with Jess, an innocent girl who can read people’s minds, and she accepts him despite Pig’s rude thoughts… even though she has plans eat him. When Jess is in danger of succumbing to a dark fate, can Pig save her with just his quick wits, wits and keen sense of smell?
The anime is slated to premiere in 2023. There are no details on the staff yet.
