Kodoani.com – Aniplex Online Fest 2023 livestream event just debuted a new promotional video for the TV anime based on the boylove manga “My New Boss Is Goofy” (Atarashii Jōshi wa Do Tennen) by Dan Ichikawa. The video revealed information about the anime’s main song, new staff, and new cast. The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 7.
The website will stream promotional videos for a different main character each week.
The anime’s opening theme song is titled “Planeteria” and will be performed by the band Fujifabric. The ending song is titled “Hanataba” (Bouquet) and will be performed by the band Lenny code Fiction.

The humorous story focuses on the office life of Kentarō Momose, a 26-year-old office worker. After being harassed by his previous boss, he decided to change jobs. However, he worries that his new boss will also be a harasser and make his life more difficult. However, Momose is surprised to meet his new boss, Yūsei Shirasaki, who has the natural talent to eliminate all of Momose’s worries.

Takahiro Yasuda is the character designer and animation director. Masato Nakayama is in charge of the music, and Jin Aketagawa is the sound director.
The main manga was posted on Ichikawa’s Twitter account and was later serialized on Akita Shoten’s Manga Cross website in February 2019. The manga received much support and was voted as one of the most recommended manga. Most expected to be adapted into anime.
