On September 17, the police of Bau Bang district, Binh Duong province, arrested Chung Van Queo (34 years old, native of Tra Vinh province) wanted for “deliberate murder”. According to the police, Queo worked as a hired hand at a pig farm in Long Binh hamlet, Long Nguyen commune, Bau Bang district. In August 2021, the Internet was constantly failing, unable to access, making Queo angry.
When Mr. Tran Thanh Nhan, an employee of the telecommunications center, went to the pig farm to repair the Internet. He used a knife to stab him many times because he was so angry. After committing the crime, Queo fled and was wanted by the investigating agency. He hid in Long Hoa, Chau Thanh, Tra Vinh communes and was arrested here by the police.
Under criminal law, intentional homicide is an act that endangers society. This behavior directly infringes on the life and health of others. Offenders can be sentenced to between 01 and 20 years in prison or life in prison as specified in Article 123 of the 2015 Penal Code, amended and supplemented in 2017.
