Kodoani.com – TOHO posted the “Love Story: Mahiru Side” promotional video on Saturday for the TV anime The Angel NextDoor Spoils Me Rotten (Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Ma ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken).
The anime premiered on Tokyo MX on January 7 at 10:30 p.m. JST. The series also aired on BS NTV and AT-X. Anime stars:

Kenichi Imaizumi (Brynhildr in the Darkness, third season of Kingdom) is overseeing the anime at project No.9, and Li Hua Wang (Romanization name has not been confirmed) is directing the series. (Imaizumi was previously listed as the series’ director and Wang was previously not named among the staff.) Keiichirō Ōchi (Adachi and Shimamura, The Quintessential Quintuplets) is in charge of the series’ scripts. Takayuki Noguchi (Queen’s Blade: Rebellion, Cinderella Nine) is adapting Hanekoto’s original character designs into animation. Moe Hyūga (O Maidens in Your Savage Season, Steins;Gate 0) is composing the music. Masayoshi Ōishi will perform the opening theme song “Gift” and Manaka Iwami will perform the ending theme song “Chiisana Koi no Uta” (A Little Love Song).
Amane lives alone in an apartment, and the prettiest girl in school, Mahiru, lives next door. They almost never spoke to each other until the day he saw her in an accident on a rainy day and lent her his umbrella. In return, she asks him to help with the housework, and a relationship slowly develops as the distance between them closes…
Saekisan began serializing the story on “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” (Become a Novelist) website in December 2018. SB Creative’s GA Bunko publishing house began publishing the story in print with illustrations. Hanekoto’s artwork in June 2019. A manga adaptation is launching in manga up! in January 2022.
