Kodoani.com MAGES. revealed on Friday that Gotōbun no Hanayome: Goto Pazu Storythe latest console game in the The Quintessential Quintuplets series, will now release on June 29 instead of May 25. MAGES says the delay is to enhance the game’s quality.
The game will release for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and pre-orders begin on February 10. The game is the console version of the mobile game Gotōbun no Hanayome: Itsutsugo-chan wa Puzzle wo Gotōbun Dekinai. The mobile game launches in October 2020. The console version will only contain the fully voiced story of the mobile game.
Natsumi Takamori (voice of Raiha Uesugi) will perform the game’s song.
MAGES. previously developed Gotōbun no Hanayome ~Natsu no Omoide mo Gotōbun~ (The Quintessential Quintuplets ~Summer Memories also Come in Five~), which will launch in Japan for PS4 and Switch in March 2021.
MAGES. also developed Eiga Gotōbun no Hanayome ~Kimi to Sugoshita Itsutsu no Omoide~ (The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie: Five Memories of My Time with You), the anime adaptation of the sequel to Eiga Gotōbun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie). The game launches for PS4 and Switch in June 2022.
Gotōbun no Hanayome: Kanojo to Kawasu Itsutsu no Yakusoku, the third console game in The Quintessential Quintuplets series, will release on September 7 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
The first season of the anime premiered in January 2019 and aired for 12 episodes. The second season of the anime aired from January 2021 to March 2021.
The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie opens in Japan in May 2022. The film serves as the end of the story.
A new anime is in the works for the franchise called The Quintessential Quintuplets ∽, and will adapt stories that haven’t appeared in previous anime projects.
Negi Haruba launched the original manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in August 2017 and ended the series in February 2020.
