Kodoani.com – Official anime Twitter account “Rail Romanesque” is based on the Lose novel franchise’s Maitetsu game, announced on Friday that an upgraded version of the 2018 video game “Maitetsu” will launch on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on December 21. They also released a promotional video for the second television anime season of “Rail Romanesque.”
The upgraded version of the game “Maitetsu” will include improved story scenarios, music and graphics compared to the previous version of the game. The first limited edition will come with a Blu-ray Disc and DVD release of the entire “Rail Romanesque 2” anime season, including audio commentary, along with 39 original soundtracks and the above two anime seasons 3 CDs.
The second season of the “Rail Romanesque” anime, titled “Rail Romanesque 2,” is scheduled to premiere on October 5, at 1 a.m. JST (actually October 6). At the same time, the Twitter account also revealed the cast for this season.
The cast includes:
Rie Tanaka – voice of Kaniko. Aya Yamane – voice of Noir. Miyuri Shimabukuro – voice of Nako. Rina Hidaka – voice of Torako. Azusa Tadokoro – voice of Kiriko. Kaede Hondo – voice of Umi. Tomori Kusunoki – voice of Mumumu. Sumire Uesaka – voice of Suzushiro.
The second season of the “Rail Romanesque” anime will also introduce unique Railords, just like the first season. The Railord cast and their roles will change in this second season.
Production for the anime’s second season includes Michiru Ebira serving as director at Yokohama Animation Lab. Tensho Sato, who has participated in many famous anime works, is the new character designer. Kō Ogata is the art director and Yūsei Kashima is in charge of color design. Ryohei Miyasaka will be the visual director and Kisuke Koizumi will be the new sound director for season two.
The first season of the anime “Rail Romanesque” consists of 12 approximately 5-minute episodes and premiered in October 2020.
“Rail Romanesque” begins with an intriguing plot in a fictional world where railways and special trains play an important role. The story revolves around the Railords and their adventures, giving viewers a unique and engaging experience.
