Kodoani.com – Official website of the new anime series adapted from the harem genre manga ”Urusei Yatsura” by Rumiko Takahashi has revealed two new cast members for the second half of the anime series, creating more excitement for fans.
The new cast list includes:

Takahiro Kamei, famous director from Strike Witches: Road to Berlin and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, will take over as director. Masaru Yokoyama, who composed the music for Horimiya, Mobile Suit Gun: Iron-Blooded Orphans and Fruits Basket 2019, will perform the music for this project.

The series begins with a humorous encounter between Ataru Moroboshi and the alien princess Lum, who has a glowing tail and the ability to fly on UFOs. The confrontation between Ataru and Lum begins with a game of tag, in which Ataru must touch Lum’s horn to prevent her from taking over the earth.
Although initially just a joke, the story develops into a series of humorous and romantic situations, with the appearance of various supernatural characters such as Oyuki, a snow spirit, and Kurama, an elf princess. Ataru Moroboshi becomes a full-fledged character of supernatural adventures, and his school life becomes colorful..

Urusei Yatsura first appeared in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine from 1978 to 1987. Discotek Media re-released many of the previous installments of Urusei Yatsura after the previous companies’ licenses expired.
