Anime revealed more information on March 16 during the first movie’s online screening
Kodoani.com – The website of the anime franchise Mr. Osomatsu revealed on Monday the title of the franchise’s second new anime series slated for release this year. The second anime series is titled, Osomatsu-san ~Tamashii no Takoyaki Party to Densetsu no Otomari-kai~ (Mr. Osomatsu : The Soul’s Takoyaki Party và Legendary Sleepover Party).
The production team will reveal more details for the second film during the screening of the first film, Osomatsu-san ~Hipipo-Zoku to Kagayaku Kajitsu~ ( Mr. Osomatsu : The Hipipo Tribe and the Glistening Fruit) on March 16th on the mahocast streaming platform, at 7:00pm JST. Besides showing the first movie, the show will also show video clips of twins performing various game challenges. The stream will be available to watch until March 19 at 11:59 p.m. JST.
Anime brand Mr. Osomatsu announced in June 2021 that they will have two new anime series with limited screenings in Japan in 2022 and 2023.
The anime film Osomatsu -san ~Hipipo-Zoku to Kagayaku Kajitsu~ will premiere in Japan in July 2022.
TV anime Mr. Osomatsu is adapted from the manga Osomatsu-kun, revolving around the Matsuno family with six naughty and naughty sons (who are six-born). All six children, including the oldest Osomatsu, fall in love with the same girl, Totoko. The Osomatsu-kun series follows the family when the boys are 10 years old. Mr. Osomatsu re-imagined the manga and anime with six children as adults.
The franchise also includes three anime seasons, a theatrical anime series, various anime shorts, and a Live action film.
