Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- opens in North America on February 23
Kodoani.com – Crunchyroll and Aniplex of America announced on Thursday the theatrical release information “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training-” will premiere in North American theaters on February 23. This screening will include the first hour-long episode of the TV anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc” and the final episode of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc”. Crunchyroll streamed a trailer for the event.
The anime will also be shown in IMAX and premium large format. Global theatrical releases have been scheduled from February 21 to February 27, covering multiple countries and territories.
World Tour premieres will take place in multiple locations around the world, including Tokyo, New York, Seoul, Berlin, Mexico City, Singapore, Jakarta, São Paulo, Paris, Taipei, London and Hong Kong. Special guests from the anime’s cast and staff will appear at some World Tour screenings.
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc” will premiere in the spring, while “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc” premiered in April 2023 and has aired 11 episodes.
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is an anime series adapted from the manga of the same name by Koyoharu Gotouge. The anime series has become a phenomenon and received much praise from both audiences and critics. “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train”, the TV anime sequel, broke many sales records and became one of the most successful anime films of all time.
