Kodoani.com – Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer for the action role-playing game based on the manga “Sand Land” by Akira Toriyama. The trailer reveals the game’s release date is April 26 (April 25 in Japan) and will be available in both English and Japanese. The game will appear on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
In the game, players will take on the role of Beelzebub, the Demon Prince, in a dry desert world. Beelzebub, along with Sheriff Rao and the demon thief, sets out on an adventure to find the legendary Spring hidden in the desert. Beelzebub, with a pure heart but superhuman strength, will explore a vast world, face dangers and meet many unique characters.
In this open world, players can travel by various vehicles or on foot, face dangers, and meet helpful characters. Vehicle and character combat will be a big part of the game, with the ability to customize and equip accessories to overcome obstacles and take on enemies.
The manga “Sand Land” was serialized by Akira Toriyama in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from May to August 2000. The series was adapted for an anime film and an anime series, also adapted from the manga, will premiere in spring 2024 on Disney+.
