Kodoani.com – Shueisha announced that the manga “Kaguya-sama: Love is War” by author Aka Akasaka will be expanded with a novel titled “Tensaitachi no Renai Jinrosen” (roughly translated: The Geniuses’ Love Werewolf War). The novel will be written by Jūichirō Hitsujiyama and is scheduled for release on November 17.
The novel’s content will revolve around the story after Kaguya and Hirogane finally meet, but before the war with the Shinomiya family. The story will begin a journey to discover treasure on the island owned by the Fujiwara family.
In addition, the manga “Oshi no Ko” by authors Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari will also have a novel titled “Ichiban Hoshi no Spica” (roughly translated: Spica – First Night Star). The novel will be written by Hajime Tanaka and is scheduled to release on the same day, i.e. November 17.
The content of the novel “Oshi no Ko” will focus on Ai after joining B-Komachi and deciding to give up her idol career. However, a promising deal with manager Ichigo may change her decision. The novel will also include a side story about the meeting between Sarina and Goro before the events of the series. The novel will also come with a preview pass for the first episode of the anime based on the manga “Oshi no Ko.”
The manga “Kaguya-sama: Love is War” began serialization in Shueisha’s Miracle Jump magazine in May 2015 and then moved to Young Jump in March 2016. The manga ended in November 2022 after a successful journey. Shueisha released the 28th compilation volume on December 19.
The manga “Oshi no Ko” by Akasaka and Yokoyari (creator of “Scum’s Wish”) launched in Young Jump magazine in April 2020. The second season of the anime based on the manga is in production.
