Kodoani.com – Nintendo just released a preview video on Thursday for the game Mario vs. Donkey Kong, introduces new levels and obstacles, along with single-player and local modes. This is a remarkable step forward with over 130 challenging new levels.
The game is expected to officially launch on Nintendo Switch on February 16. Nintendo describes the game as follows:
“Experience the exciting rivalry of the Game Boy Advance era, Mario vs. Donkey Kong recreated on Nintendo Switch. This time, Donkey Kong has stolen the Mini-Mario toy, and Mario is determined to pursue him to get it back them! Use your mind and strength to overcome a series of increasingly challenging levels. In this update, you can even challenge your friends in local play mode. With grabbing keys and Navigating through treacherous platforms, you’ll jump and backflip using a handstand to guide the Mini-Mario toy to safety. Then, prepare for a showdown with Donkey Kong!”
Originally launching on Game Boy Advance in 2004, Mario vs. Donkey Kong quickly became a staple of the series, inspired by the original 1981 Donkey Kong game and followed by the 1994 Game Boy version. Other games in the series include Mario vs. Donkey Kong: March of the Minis for Nintendo DS and Mini Mario & Friends: Amiibo Challenge for Nintendo Wii U and 3DS.
