Kodoani.com – The main YouTube channel of the five-member voice-over idol group i☆Ris posted a 60-second clip to reveal the character design for the group’s upcoming anime theatrical film. I☆Ris the Movie -Full Energy!!-. The clip was also shown for the first time at their live concert, held at the TOKYO DOME CITY HALL on June 24 as the final performance of the “i☆Ris 8th Live Tour” national tour. 2023～Wasshoi!!!!!～.”
i☆Ris was formed by the six winners of the 1st Anison Vocal Audition organized by avex and 81 Produce in August 2012, then released their first single “Color” on November 7 of the same year. After one of the founding members, Azuki Shibuya left the group at the end of March 2021, they became active as a five-member group consisting of Himika Akaneya, Yu Serizawa, Miyu Kubota, Saki Yamakita, and Yuki Wakai.
The theatrical anime project was announced in November 2022. At this stage, no details such as the staffing or plot have been revealed beyond the 2024 release date.
