“The Witch and the Beast” is a Japanese manga series about revenge and magic that debuted in November 2016 in Young the Third Magazine and was later serialized by Monthly Young Magazine in December.
The two main characters in the story are Guideau, a wild girl with long fangs and cruel eyes, and Ashaf, a kind-hearted boy with delicate features who carries a mysterious coffin on his back.
The two went to see; A witch has taken over the village and turned the people into idols of heroes. Ashaf and Guideau are willing to kill anyone who stands in their way once the score is settled because they can see through the lies.
The manga was collected into 10 volumes in August 2022, each volume expanding on the Guideau and Ashaf storyline. The combination of mystery, terror, and suspense draws readers into this character-driven story.
News of the anime adaptation broke in August 2022. Yokohama Animation Laboratory produced the anime, while Takayuki Hamana oversaw the television show. In addition to Momose, the character designs were done by Hiroya Iijima and Hanae Nakamura, while Tsumi Tabuchi was in charge of the music. During our interview, they promised us that their design and sound ideas would be just as great.
Ashaf and Guideau face the fictional bravery of witches in the magical world. As they come, the show explores the complex relationship between evil forces and justice, far beyond traditional fantasy.

Plot
