The official Twitter account of Akita Shoten’s Monthly Shounen Champion magazine revealed on August 5 that the story of Ameko Kaeruda’s Harapeko Seijo to Manpuku Majo no Isekai (The Peaceful Fantasy Life of a Hungry Saint and the Sorcerer) full stomach) has a new manga adaptation that will serialize in the magazine. Nabe Fuyuno is drawing manga. The announcement did not reveal the manga’s release date.
The original story revolves around the constantly hungry Emilia, a future saint who is banished from her convent. She is helped by a wandering witch named Abigail, who discovers that the source of Emilia’s hunger is her immense magical power, which is because she is the incarnation of a goddess. Bored by Abigail’s home-cooked meals, Emilia’s powers can even work miracles.
Kaeruda began publishing the story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in June 2020, where the novel is still ongoing. Kadokawa published the first print edition of the manga on August 5, featuring artwork by KeG.
J-Novel Club is publishing Kaeruda’s novel Sexiled: My Sexist Party Leader Kicked Me Out, So I Teamed Up With a Mythical Sorceress!, as well as the novel A Lily Blooms in Another World.
