This chapter opens with Kwak Dochang exchanging blows with Dajoon, but he does not seem to be interrupted by Dajoon’s attacks.
Dochang compliments Dajoon by saying that he has improved a lot since the last time they fought. Dajoon tries to attack Dochang again, but all of his attacks are easily blocked. Dochang says that no matter how much Dajoon has improved, it’s still too early for him to fight haegwang.
Dochang warns Dajoon that even if he thinks highly of himself, he is still only at the level of a street gang leader. Dajoon replied that he liked to judge his opponents by exchanging blows, and so Dochang rushed towards him again.
Dajoon attacks Dochang, but he blocks the attack and punches Dajoon straight in the face. This punch surprised Dajoon because he couldn’t even see it coming.
Dajoon remembered what he knew about Dochang before and wondered if he could predict everything. The battle continued, Dajoon was destroyed and pushed back.

As Dajoon tried to catch his breath, he realized that Hwaegwang was truly on another level. Dochang said that Dajoon could never punch him even once because he could see through his every move.
Dochang told Dajoon that he was not suitable to lead an organization because he was a runaway. Dajoon held Dochang’s feet and tried to punch him to shut him up, but Dochang dodged the punch again.
He pitied Dajoon for trying so hard, even though nothing could stand against him. Dochang then strangled Dajoon and said that he knew everything, including that Dajoon was bullied before he ran away.
Dochang added that Dajoon founded an organization in the name of revenge, but all he wanted was to make up for his past mistakes. He said that in all these years of his life, he had witnessed countless people like this, and Jo Hangil was no different from this trash. The focus then shifts to a flashback to Dajoon’s childhood.
In a flashback, we see Dajoon being bullied by some people because he is related to Jo Hangil. The bullies took the cake from Dajoon and threw it on the street, making Dajoon angry, but he couldn’t do anything because he was outnumbered.
One of the bullies rushed to slap Dajoon for acting too arrogant but suddenly, Jo arrived on the scene and pushed the bullies away.
The bullies try to fight Jo, but Jo easily defeats all of them. He then checks on Dajoon, who looks devastated because he couldn’t give anything to Jo on his birthday. Jo smiled and ate the roadside cake to express her appreciation for Dajoon’s efforts. Dajoon asked Jo why he did that for him even though he was useless.
Jo smiles and says they are not family because they always help each other. Instead, they help each other because they are a family.
The focus then shifts back to the fight between Dochang and Dajoon. Dajoon was angry after hearing Dochang insult Jo Hangil. In anger, Dajoon rushed straight at Dochang, but he still did not land any blows.
Dochang said that it was useless for Dajoon to try his best when suddenly he was hit hard. Dochang stepped back because he couldn’t understand what had just happened. Dajoon then changes his stance and tells Dochang that he will now show him what kind of person Jo Hangil is.
